This site (which began a few days ago on June 10, 2007) will highlight a Michigan resort every month and provide information on resorts throughout Michigan. Many places have "resort" in their name, but may not qualify as a resort as commonly understood.

What is a "Michigan resort" and what will qualify to appear in this directory?

• It must be located in Michigan
• It needs to have offer (or be in the midst of) a comprehensive vacation in one location: (i.e., lodging, food and entertainment/sports facilities)

Many hotels consider themselves to be "Michigan resorts" when in fact they are simply a hotel which does not have all of the amenities for a full vacation pakage.

This directory is neither affiliated with a travel agency nor resort property. It is simply the work of a search engine optimizer (Evmikna Graphics) who found a great keyword, lives in Michigan and loves the various resorts in Michigan!

For purposes of this site and to satisfy the searcher, this site will focus specifically on what is commonly understood as a true Michigan Resort.
